In the bustling heart of a vibrant city, my journey truly began in Makati—the capital of the Philippines’ fast-paced business and creative scene. It was a place full of energy, ambition, and endless stories waiting to be told.
Then came the uncertainty of the pandemic.
While the world slowed down, I chose to keep moving holding onto what I do best: storytelling.
Behind every shoot was a rhythm the steady chopping of ingredients, the sizzle of oil hitting the pan, the vibrant colors coming to life under studio lights. Amidst the organized chaos of the kitchen, I found clarity. I believed that every dish we filmed wasn’t just food it was a story waiting to be experienced.
My role extended beyond filming. I was involved in conceptualizing shots, developing visual direction, and shaping how each recipe would connect with audiences. Food, after all, is universal it brings comfort, curiosity, and culture together. My goal was to translate that feeling into every video we created.
Working with Recipes.net during such a challenging time taught me resilience and adaptability. It pushed me to grow not just as a filmmaker, but as a creative storyteller. I learned how to find beauty in simplicity, how to create impact within limitations, and how to stay inspired even when the world felt uncertain.

After almost two years, my journey with the company came to an end as the contract concluded. While it marked the closing of one chapter, it also opened the door to new opportunities and creative paths ahead.
Looking back, I carry with me not just the work I’ve created, but the experiences, lessons, and passion that continue to shape who I am today as a filmmaker.
And this is only the beginning.
